NATIONAL EVENT, WHITE DOWNS

25 FEBRUARY 2007

Venue: North Downs. West of Dorking
Terrain: Extensive mainly runnable woodland with scarp slope
Event Centre: Friends' Provident offices (GR 171506) adjacent to A24 just North of Dorking opposite Denbies Vineyard. Toilets, hot showers, changing facilities, free car park, real ale bar, refreshments available. Railway station 5 minutes walk. Dogs are not permitted
Classes: All usual BOF age classes: M/W 10-16, A/B; M/W 18-70 L/S, M75 L/S, W75; M/W 21 V; M/W 21 N.  Plus White, Yellow, Orange, Light Green, Red colour coded.

This is a scoring event for the 2007 Future Champions Cup series
Map: 1:10,000 and 1:15,000, surveyed and drawn 2007 by Mike Elliot
Entry: Online entry is preferred via www.fabian4.co.uk
Postal entry on Standard Entry Form enclosing SAE to M.White, 19 Sheephouse Green, Wotton, Dorking, Surrey RH5 6QW.
Closing date: online entries will close on 15 February 2007 Postal entries postmarked no later than 8th February will be accepted
Late entries online only after 15 February until Wednesday 21 February: +£4 seniors  +£2 Juniors/students. There will be no entry on the day
Colour coded courses will be entry on the day only
Fees:  National event: National BOF members £12; Local BOF members £14; Juniors/Students in full time education £6
Colour coded: BOF members/SEOA club members £6; others £8; Juniors/Students £3
SPORTident card hire £1
Times: Starts 10:00 until 13:30
Courses close 15:30
Registration opens 9:00
Transport: Competitors will be transported by hired coaches from the Event Centre to White Downs and from White Downs to the Event Centre after they have finished. First coach at 9:00. Please use the hired coaches and do not park on White Downs. We do not have permission to park competitors cars on White Downs
Facilities: First aid/toilets at bus terminal. Full facilities at Friends' Provident, Dorking
Safety: Whistles recommended

Entries and results will be processed by computer and published on our web site. Completion of an entry form implies consent to this.

Competitors take part in the event at their own risk and Mole Valley Orienteering Club cannot accept liability for injury, damage or loss arising at or because of the event, however caused.

In the event of cancellation MVOC may retain all or part of the entry fee to cover costs already incurred.
